Hi, I'm Mark. I'm a Retail Strategy & Growth Consultant for Artisan and Independent Retailers.

I began my career in retail at the age of 16. To start with, it was just a job that paid the bills, but as my role become more varied and I was promoted into ever more exciting roles, my work slowly turned into a passion. For over 25 years, I’ve worked for all sorts of businesses big and small. I've led large, multi-site teams across the Midlands and beyond, and gained first-hand experience in the fast-paced and ever-changing world of retail. My journey has taken me through private equity buyouts and IPOs, where I was part of transformation projects that grew a business from 60 stores to over 900 and more recently, I’ve expanded into hospitality, farm shops, and partnerships with independent suppliers and family-run businesses.

 

My focus now is on supporting small businesses – the brave ones who’ve taken the leap to start something of their own. As a Retail Strategy and Growth Consultant, I’m here to help you scale your business and become more profitable, giving you the confidence and clarity you need to get to the next level.
